While the Class of 2023 & the Class of 2024 at The KAUST School received acceptances to some of the best universities in the world, the philosophical practice of the college counseling office is to help students identify and encourage best fit matches regardless of university rankings.

The goal of the college counseling office is to educate TKS students and families about a range of possibilities matching their interests, goals, financial budget, and potential to succeed at university and beyond.It is highly advised that the measures of post-secondary success are based on the happiness of each student’s acceptances and choices for matriculation.Since this is different for each individual and admissions competition is increasingly more selective, this is a positive measure of success that the TKS community should continue to aspire towards.Ensuring that each student not only receives an acceptance into a best fit university, but has also chosen the overall best post-secondary pathway for themselves is the measure of success at TKS.
